I've been busy with work and school however I have been writing a long post.
I am hesitant to post it, however, because even though it is what I feel and what I think, I believe others may be offended. We will see what happens when I post it. No ETA, though, as of yet.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are waiting to be matched with a potential birth mother and I was searching the internet, trying to get birth parent's perspectives on the process. I just read your entire blog and teared up quite a bit!
I felt compelled to let you know that I think it is wonderful that you shared such personal and heart felt insights into your experience. It is really helpful for people like me, who want to understand the birth mother perspective at a much deeper level. Sure, there are books and our agency tries to prepare us, but there is nothing like hearing it straight from a birth mother who experienced it personally.
As for not wanting to offend anyone (mentioned in your last post).... it's your blog, you should say what you feel and what is important to you. I have a blog about our adoption process and I have so far just written from the heart, not worrying about every single person. You can't keep everyone happy!
